"Mark was very knowledgable and supported us in an area we had less experience, he worked all hours and always met deadlines set. His knowledge and experience was valuable to us as a business and helped support us through the whole bid writing and submission process. We would recommend The Sports Effect to anyone within the not for profit sector."

Jihan Alfindi
Researcher I really enjoy sports, especially football. For the past five years, I've been working in sport for development. I'm particularly interested in promoting gender equality through sports. Currently, I'm studying for a master's degree in Sport Development and Politics at the German Sport University. In my bachelor's degree, I studied translations, which helped me later on to engage with different communities as I am fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English. I believe sports have the power to bring positive change to the world, and I'm passionate about being a part of that change Jihan Al-Findi Researcher
"At first, I told The Sports Effect our organisation was not ready to apply for the FIFA grant, but after a little conversation about our work, he told me, ' I am positive you guys are more than qualified for the grants'. Indeed, we were able to work on a proposal for the grants which was accepted!"
